History/Life: 
~ Mercedes is born to a family of Spanish pureblood. She dedicates her time to helping those that are at their weakest and make them stronger, that was what she did during her time in the Shinganshina District. In the streets, she got into a lot of fights along with her cousin, Alexander, also a Spanish pureblood, and no one messed with them. Her father owned a guitar shop right before the fall of Wall Maria. 

After, he family reopened a shop just on the north side of Trost and there, Mercedes began to change little by little. Aside from being a guitar shop owner, her father was in the Garrison and her cousin in the Survey Corps/Recon Corps/Scouting legion. Because she's motivated by helping the weak, she decided to be apart of the military. More specific, the Survey Corps because she believes in a world "to extend new ideas, a world where they can try to be afraid of something else". Along the 104th Trainee squad, she befriended many people like Eren, Mikasa, Armin and so on. She would have become part of the top ten but "accidentally" scored lower than her family anticipated, saying she would rather die than be apart of the top ten and eligible for the Military Police. ~
